Possibilities disappear with age. All of those “what-ifs,” those seemingly infinite chances for adventure and accomplishment, of actualizing daydreams and chasing magic, they get buried under time. Things that could have been done. Things that should have never been done. They slowly become layers, heavy with decay, compacting our bodies into inescapable tombs.
